P2X Privacy Policy

1. Overview

P2X is a data aggregation and analytics tool for cryptocurrency market observers. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data required to operate the service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information (when you register)

• Email address
• Username
• Phone number (optional)
• Password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash; never stored in plain text)

Usage Data

• Anonymous app usage statistics for performance monitoring
• Device type and operating system version for compatibility
• IP address (for security and fraud prevention)

We do NOT collect

• Contact lists
• Location or GPS data
• Health, fitness, or biometric data
• Payment card or banking information
• Browsing history outside the app

3. Permissions

On iOS, P2X requests only the following system permission:

• Photo Library — used exclusively when you choose to attach an image in the in-app Support Chat. We never access your photo library without your explicit action.

On Android, additional permissions may be requested at the point of use for features such as camera, microphone, or notifications. Each permission is tied to a specific user-initiated action and can be revoked in your system settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the service
• Authenticate your login
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share data only with:

• Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) under confidentiality agreements, limited to what they need to run the service.
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities when legally required.

6. Data Retention

• Active account data: retained while your account is active.
• Deleted accounts: personal data removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
• Server access logs: retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging.

8. Third-Party Data Sources

P2X aggregates publicly available market information from third-party sources, including but not limited to major cryptocurrency exchanges and on-chain data providers. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies. Data from these sources is displayed for informational purposes only.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and least-privilege server access. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

10. Children's Privacy

P2X is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. By using P2X you consent to this transfer and processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of P2X after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
